The World Scout Conference is the highest governing body of WOSM. It serves as the decision-making platform where member organizations discuss and vote on various policies, strategies, and future directions for the global Scouting movement. The conference also provides an opportunity for members to share experiences, best practices, and collaborate on initiatives that enhance the impact of Scouting worldwide.

As a member of the Side Events Team of WOSM, you would be involved in organizing and supporting various activities that take place alongside the main conference and youth forum. These side events could include workshops, panel discussions, networking sessions, exhibitions, cultural exchanges, and other interactive programs designed to enrich the experience of the participants. The Side Events Team plays a crucial role in ensuring that these additional activities align with the themes of the conference and forum, providing opportunities for deeper engagement and learning for all attendees.

Delegates from over 170 National Scout Organizations (NSOs), representing more than 50 million Scouts worldwide, attend the conference. It is a diverse assembly that includes leaders, volunteers, and professionals from the Scouting community.
